Professional Batting Practice with Kyle Hunt
September 29-30, 2021
Ann Arbor, Michigan
Imagine being a baseball or softball player
It’s your turn up to bat.
The team is down a run.
It’s late in the game.
Already two outs in the inning,
And you’re stepping into the batter’s box.
The catcher is giving signs.
The pitcher is staring you down.
The crowd is making some noise.
The smells of hot dogs and brats and caramel corn fill the air…
There’s the anticipation
Then the wind-up
You smack a line drive over the shortstop and find the left-field gap.
A nice double and a couple of runs batted in!
Success as an athlete is no different than success as a remodeler
It doesn’t happen just by walking up to the plate.
It’s the years of practice,
Of getting in your swings and putting in the work in the batting cage.
Ask any player worth their salt and they will tell you that batting practice is one of the most important keys to their training.
But they don’t go it alone… It’s not an isolated skill-building exercise.
It takes a skilled coach to look in from the outside and analyze your mechanics.
Someone who can see errors, glitches, and issues with your swing and help you correct them.
A good batting coach and lots of batting practice can make or break a career.
The difference between struggling for years in the minors or going PRO!
Let’s move that analogy over to your remodeling business and sales process.
Do you show up for sales calls anxiously hoping instead of confidently knowing your sales process is locked in?
Do you hate getting fooled by client curve ball questions that make your knees buckle?
Do you take a lot of swings, but fail to make solid contact on a consistent basis, instead you keep fouling balls off?
(The customer says, let us sleep on it and we’ll give you a call… or we’re getting a couple more estimates, we’ll let you know)
Would you rather professionally and calmly and convincingly sell them on your process (and walk out with a YES! – aka a HOMERUN)
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you will benefit greatly from the upcoming in-person “Batting Practice” event I’m hosting.
“Batting Practice” is something that I’ve always done with my remodeling clients and in the classes that I teach.
And it’s always a HUGE hit!
The main concept is that you’re the salesperson (batter) and someone else is the client (pitcher) throwing junk to try and strike you out.
In batting practice, we practice how we respond, answer questions, and present our process.
It’s the bottom of the 9th and the job comes down to you or a competitor…
Batting practice will teach you what to look for, what to say, and just the right questions to ask a remodeling prospect, to put the odds in your favor.
Long story short, you will have less strikeouts and more discernment every time you step up to the plate… You’ll develop a good eye and know when to say “NO” and just take a walk.
During batting practice, you’ll quickly develop the PRO-SKILL of storytelling that will take you from average to All-Star.
I am very excited to host my first ever in-person LIVE batting practice event called:
Feel Calm, Confident, In Control, & Dramatically Increase Your Closing Percentage!
Join Me (Kyle) and Your Remodeling Peers LIVE and in-person!
You have the opportunity to join me (Kyle) and your remodeling peers live (and in-person!)
In Ann Arbor, Michigan on September 29th & 30th 2021.
You’re going to spend two days learning, practicing, perfecting, and becoming a stronger salesperson
(While having a lot of fun!)
Here’s the 4-Point Success Plan
- There will be a clear hour by hour agenda for our two days together
- (It’s already planned out. We’ll work our way through ‘9 innings’ and I’ll make sure you get a 7th inning stretch…)
- In the ‘Top of the Inning’ Kyle will introduce the topic and teach on it.
- In the ‘Bottom of the Inning,’ we’ll do Batting Practice on it together.
Here’s the Schedule for All 9 Innings
The Third Inning: Example Schedule
‘Top of the Inning’ Kyle will introduce the topic and teach on it.
‘Bottom of the Inning,’ we’ll do Batting Practice on it together.
Duration: 90 Minutes
TOP OBJECTIONS & HOW TO OVERCOME THEM
Do you ever find yourself on your heels when prospects say things like:
“Can we see a breakdown of all of the specific costs on this kitchen project?
“Wow, that’s more than I thought it was going to be.”
“Why do you charge for design? I just wanted a free estimate.”
We’ll cover how to how to professionally/kindly turn down a non-ideal prospect
How to handle the conversation when the client has an unrealistic budget
And you’ll learn how to professionally overcome these (and other) common objections!
Imagine knowing what to say and how to say it to bring the client around to your perspective, without being pushy or high pressure. It makes getting the “YES!” so much easier!
When the training is done
You’ll leave with your own private playbook full of proven phrases and “Yes!” winning lines that you’ve learned from Kyle and your peers.
You’ll leave and feel Calm, Confident, & In Control of your entire sales process.
Yes, you’ll have to get outside of your comfort zone a bit.
But you also know that Kyle will make this fun, helpful, and game-changing for you (there may even be some awesome big league swag)!
This two-day training will be unlike anything you’ve ever been to!
How much is it worth to be a salesperson who is…
More confident and prepared? (This translates to better and greater sales)
Who can professionally explain the value that you offer? (When you differentiate yourself, you can charge more and deal with a higher caliber of client!)
Who can build know, like, and trust and sell more prospects on design & project development services? (This leads to more signed projects and money in your bank account – AND a lot less headaches to deal with!)
Who can elegantly turn down non-ideal work? (So that our production department is only working with clients who are a great fit for us and, as such, our projects are producing more Gross Profit)
Who can handle objections like a pro to effectively guide more of your prospects into paying clients without being salesy? (More SIGNED contracts!)
This will be an excellent event for…
The bottom line is that this will be an excellent event for:
Remodeling business owners who focus on kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and other interior remodeling.
Remodeling Salespeople and Designers – send your people to this and get that trained!
Office Managers who interact often with prospects and clients (Also note: There’s a sizeable discount for the 2nd or 3rd person who attends from the same company)
What’s the Ticket Price (Investment)?
